THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CONCEPT

Fictional café.
Working website.

A small digital place made to feel warm, useful and unhurried.

What this is.

Kopi Ruang is an original fictional Malaysian café concept. It is not an operating venue, a commissioned café website, or an endorsement by a real business with a similar name.

The code is a real, responsive website. Its navigation, menu filters, item customisation, local shortlist, image gallery and visit planner run in your browser.

What works, and where it stops.

You can search the sample menu, change a drink’s options, add items to a shortlist, copy or download that list, explore the gallery, and generate a sample visit plan with a calendar file.

No order is placed, no table is reserved, no message is sent, and no payment is taken. The site has no customer accounts, booking backend or live inventory.

About the images.

The visual imagery was made with GPT image generation during the design process. Individual photographs were cropped from those generated design compositions, then exported as optimised WebP files. They are derived crops, not separate photo shoots or individually generated high-resolution photographs.

These scenes do not represent real premises, staff or products. Some small menu images have limited native resolution; they are intentionally used in compact layouts.

About the sample menu.

Item names, prices and ingredient notes are illustrative design content. They must not be used as verified food-safety, allergen, dietary, pricing or availability information.

Designed for a lightweight handover.

This site uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript, locally included images, and a system-font stack. There are no image-generation API calls, external font downloads, analytics scripts or payment integrations at runtime.

Before using it for a real business.

Replace the concept identity, menu, prices, imagery and business details with approved material. Add and test the actual contact, order or booking service. Review privacy, accessibility and search settings before removing the concept labels.
